The Brothers of Father Seyfried Council #821, Kings Park, NY is proud to announce that it has earned "STAR COUNCIL" for three consecutive years! Council #821 gathered for Mass and a Day of Spiritual Reflection to begin our Lenten Journey. Our Facilitator, Vince spoke on "Untethering Yourself" to truly appreciate Lent.
On Saturday, March 1st Knights of Columbus Council #821 joined the Kings Park Community and marched in the LARGEST SAINT PATRICK'S DAY PARADE ON LONG ISLAND! We were joined by members of The Father Shea Honor Guard and members of Council#3958, Holy Mother Mary Council , along with the District Deputy, Rich Fitzgerald. Hundreds lined up to enjoy the day, the weather was perfect and whether Irish or not-EVERYONE HAD IRISH EYES SMILING!
On Thursday, February 7th, the Parish of Saint Joseph said an emotional goodbye to its Associate Pastor, Father Patrick. Father Patrick needed to return to Ghana to recuperate from health issues. Over 200 parishioners gathered to wish him well and, hopefully, a speedy recovery. Father Patrick was considered a " roll your sleeves up priest" and was
involved in every aspect of parish life! One parishioner said, "You just had to ask Father Patrick, and he would be there." This holy, humble, generous, and hard-working parish priest will be missed by all.

On Suday, February 16th Council #821 joined other Councils from District 9 in support of The Life Center of L.I. at St. Pat's Parish, Smithtown. Over 150 Knights and guests gathered to support a "Culture of Life!" Close to $2000 was collected along with a truckload of baby supplies to- Help Support New Mothers and Their Infants!

Part of the Mission of The Knights of Columbus is to Support the Dignity of Life from the womb to grave. This includes: The Unborn, The Elderly, The Sick and Infirmed, The Marginalized, and Those who have no one to pray for them.
PRAY THE ROSARY and PRAY for LIFE
Kings Park, NY - On December 2nd and December 3rd the Father Seyfried Knights of Columbus Council 821 donated 4 boxes of new coats to underprivileged kids under their annual Faith in Action - Coats for Kids program. This years recipients include the SCO Family of Services and the Lighthouse Mission. The Knights of Columbus find it their honor to help such worthy causes.
