Kings Park, NY - On November 15th and 16th the Father Seyfried Knights of Columbus Council 821 collected over 600 bags of gently used and new clothing for the benefit of the needy of Long Island. All donations were given to The Society of Saint Vincent De Paul to assist their mission of helping those in need on Long Island. " Coats for Kids" Chairperson ,John Ferreyra said, "the Society was very impressed with our efforts, and this may have been our best collection year ever!" Thank you to the Kings Park Community for their generosity with this important project!


The Brothers of Father Seyfried Council #821, Kings Park, NY joined the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and the Parishioners of the Parish of St. Joseph to pray for our Great United States. Over 100 of the Faithful were in attendance for this important event.

Kings Park, NY - On October 27th and 28th the Father Seyfried Knights of Columbus Council 821 donated 7 boxes of new coats to underprivileged children under their annual Faith in Action - Coats for Kids program. This years' recipients include the St. Hugh of Lincoln Outreach Program in Huntington Station, SCO Family of Services in Dix Hills, and The Msgr. Gerald Ryan Outreach Center in Wyandanch. The Knights of Columbus find it their honor to help such worthy causes.


West Point, NY - On November 2nd, Council and Regional Soccer Challenge Champion, Simon competed in the NYS Finals at West Point. We are happy to report that Simon won the Soccer Challenge for his age group making him A Triple Crown Soccer Challenge Champion! Great Job Simon. Thanks to Simon's Family for their love, support and generosity!


On the first Sunday of each month a team of Brothers from The Father Seyfried Council join other Knight's Councils in assisting disabled Veterans from their rooms at the Stony Brook Veterans Hospital to attend Mass. This allows our worthy Veterans the opportunity to celebrate their faith and enjoy conversation with the Knights.

The Brothers of Father Seyfried Council #821, Kings Park, NY hosted a "Silver Rose Prayer Service" and hospitality on May 9th. The service asks for the intervention of our Blessed Mother to protect the sanctity of life. The service included the praying of the Rosary along with a special prayer service provided by the Supreme Council of the Knights of Columbus.

The Brothers of Father Seyfried Council#821 braved cold and dreary weather to coordinate a food drive to assist the Saint Vincent De Paul Food Pantry at The Parish of Saint Joseph, Kings Park. The Council collected hundreds of pounds of food that will be distributed to needy families seeking assistance from the pantry. A special thanks to the Kings Park Community for their generosity and support with this worthy cause.

The Brothers of Father Seyfried Council#821 is proud to collect food items for the Parish of Saint Joseph's, Saint Vincent DePaul Center at each of our monthly meetings and at our yearly Community Food Drive. We also sponsor the Respect Life Rose on the Altar at Saint Joseph's Parish Church monthly.
